Honestly, Tamazight is one of those languages that will make you feel like your tongue is doing gymnastics. I remember walking through a tiny village in the Atlas mountains, trying to say “Amek tiṭṭ?” (“How are you?”). I think I butchered it three times before a local guy just laughed, shook his head, and said, “Just say ‘Azul’ like everyone else.” Which I did, and suddenly I had five people giving me advice on how to pronounce vowels, one telling me a proverb about olive trees, and a kid shouting a joke I didn’t understand.
The dialects are all over the place. Rural villages stretch vowels like they’re drawing out every second of life, urban Tamazight is clipped and snappy. Slang? Forget about it. French, Arabic, a bit of Spanish — people throw them in randomly. Grammar exists, sure, but in practice, endings disappear, pronouns vanish, and you find yourself nodding like you understand, hoping the laughter is friendly.
Conversations are unpredictable. I once said hello, and two hours later I was sitting on a stone wall, eating figs, listening to a guy narrate a goat’s misadventures, while a woman taught me three different words for “mountain.” You’ll never get this from a textbook. Mispronounce? They exaggerate, mimic, tease, and somehow you remember the word better than if it had been drilled formally.

Enuncia Global is… well, I guess the simplest way to put it is we’re in the business of languages. Not just translation in the boring dictionary sense, but kind of making communication smoother between people who otherwise would stare blankly at each other. We do translations, voice overs, subtitles, all that.
