Moken is soft, vowel-heavy, melodic, and mostly oral. Spoken on small islands in the Andaman Sea. Written form is rare — learning mostly by ear.

Moken spoken casually in villages is slow, almost hypnotic, with repeated syllables. Example:
"Ngaw mah, uai?"
(“How are you?”)

Slang is local and situational — youth sprinkle Thai, Burmese, or Malay. Grammar exists formally but spoken Moken simplifies constantly. Mispronounce? Exaggeration, laughter, gestures — correction is slow, patient, and playful.

Cultural tip: Conversations spiral unpredictably: greeting → fishing → family → gossip → teasing → story about the sea → joke → exaggeration. You’ll pick up vocabulary and expressions only by spending hours immersed in daily life.

Enuncia Global is… well, I guess the simplest way to put it is we’re in the business of languages.
