Maltese is wild because it’s technically a Semitic language but written in the Latin alphabet — so it looks European but sounds… kinda Arabic mixed with Italian and English. One sentence can feel like three languages mashed together.

"X’nagħmlu wara?"
(“What are we doing later?”)
And you answer:
"Nista’ niġi, imma busy jien."
(“I can come, but I’m busy.”)
Half Maltese, half English, nobody cares.

Slang’s even more chaotic — Italian words sneak in constantly, and younger Maltese speakers swap effortlessly between three languages mid-conversation. Older folks stick to purer Maltese, but honestly, in Valletta cafés, it’s linguistic jazz.

Music festivals are perfect here too. You’ll hear Maltese rappers mixing Arabic roots with English hooks and Italian bridges — it’s the best crash course you’ll get.

Enuncia Global is… well, I guess the simplest way to put it is we’re in the business of languages. Not just translation in the boring dictionary sense, but kind of making communication smoother between people who otherwise would stare blankly at each other. We do translations, voice overs, subtitles, all that.
