Irish isn’t just “English with an accent” — it’s its own thing entirely, and modern Irish speakers mix it differently depending on where you are. Dublin Irish feels lighter and blends English freely, while Connemara Irish is thicker, slower, and closer to older roots.
The spelling’s deceptive, though. “Máthair” looks wild but just means “mother.” And “craic” (pronounced “crack”) means fun, gossip, or a good night out. Example:
"Any craic last night?"
("Did anything fun happen last night?”)
Irish slang bleeds into English too. “Yer man” = “that guy,” “grand” = “fine,” “slagging” = friendly teasing. It’s social, playful, and full of storytelling — Irish conversations spiral into tangents and jokes constantly.
Best tip: Learn Irish in pubs, not classrooms. After two pints, you’ll speak better than any textbook can teach you.

Enuncia Global is… well, I guess the simplest way to put it is we’re in the business of languages. Not just translation in the boring dictionary sense, but kind of making communication smoother between people who otherwise would stare blankly at each other. We actually care about tone, style, culture… because honestly, what’s the point of translating if you lose the feel of it? Like, imagine a joke translated literally—it just dies, right? We try to keep that soul alive.
We’ve got a team that’s oddly diverse. Some are language nerds, some are techies who enjoy making websites and SEO stuff work, and then there are project managers who somehow manage to keep everyone from losing their minds. Not easy.
