Greek feels like a language that carries history on its back… but modern Greek is nothing like what you imagine when you hear “ancient Greek philosophers.” Nobody in Athens talks like Socrates, trust me.

The alphabet scares people at first — squiggly letters everywhere — but it’s not that bad. Once you stop panicking, you’ll see half the symbols already live in your math notes. “Ω” isn’t just omega; it’s a sound. “Φ” isn’t a mystery; it’s an “f.”

Modern Greek has a rhythm that’s kinda… musical? People stretch vowels, chop off endings, and talk fast, especially in Athens. Northern Greek, around Thessaloniki, sounds slower and softer — you feel like they’re singing.

Slang is wild. A friend greets you with:
"Ti kaneis, re file?"
(“What’s up, bro?”)
And then two minutes later, someone else throws a phrase like:
"Kala, malaka!"
(Literally “good, idiot” — but it’s friendly, don’t panic).

Also, Greeks are emotional speakers. They wave hands, raise eyebrows, argue about lunch like it’s politics, and laugh mid-sentence. You feel the language, not just hear it.

Enuncia Global is… well, I guess the simplest way to put it is we’re in the business of languages. Not just translation in the boring dictionary sense, but kind of making communication smoother between people who otherwise would stare blankly at each other.
