Burushaski (बुरुशास्की / Burushaski)

Burushaski (बुरुशास्की / Burushaski)

About

Burushaski is legendary among linguists. It’s a language isolate — no known relatives. Spoken in Hunza, Nagar, and Yasin valleys. That alone makes it weird, unpredictable. Locals know it’s unique and sometimes joke about outsiders never learning it.

Hunza Burushaski is soft, flowing, slightly singsongy. Nagar dialect changes vowels, merges syllables differently. Example:
"Chi bal?"
(“What’s up?”)

Slang is local. Kids mix Urdu or English casually, elders throw in old words nobody else knows. Grammar is complex, but in conversation, locals simplify naturally. You make mistakes constantly — and they laugh, correct, or exaggerate mistakes.

Cultural tip: Burushaski speakers love to chat endlessly, storytelling is everything. Markets, cafés, family kitchens — every space is a classroom if you’re patient and willing to repeat yourself until you almost start thinking like them.

About Enuncia Global

Enuncia Global is… well, I guess the simplest way to put it is we’re in the business of languages. Not just translation in the boring dictionary sense, but kind of making communication smoother between people who otherwise would stare blankly at each other. We do translations, voice overs, subtitles, all that. Sometimes it feels like we’re everywhere—legal docs one day, video game dialogues the next, and then suddenly some corporate brochure that has to sound “professional but not robotic.”

I think what makes Enuncia Global different (and I don’t want to sound like a cliché company profile here, but still) is that it’s not only about throwing words from one language to another. We actually care about tone, style, culture… because honestly, what’s the point of translating if you lose the feel of it? Like, imagine a joke translated literally—it just dies, right? We try to keep that soul alive.

We’ve got a team that’s oddly diverse. Some are language nerds, some are techies who enjoy making websites and SEO stuff work, and then there are project managers who somehow manage to keep everyone from losing their minds. Not easy.

At the end of the day, it’s about trust. Clients give us sensitive stuff—sometimes personal, sometimes business secrets—and we deliver, quietly, without fuss. Maybe that’s why people stick with us. Anyway, that’s Enuncia Global in short.
